She was absolutely fantastic every visit. When our pediatrician told us PT is no longer necessary, we deciced to cancel our visits because we were paying out of pocket fees and are very busy parents. We were surprisingly met with a lot of attitude from Stacy. She told us we have to pay a $150 cancellation charge, and even hung up on my husband.

She is now turning 5 this year and the progress she has made has been incredible. We are so grateful for Ms. Rachel, Ms. Marisa, and Ms. Megan. They are compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated to the kids they work with. The growth we’ve seen in our daughter speaks for itself, and we will forever be thankful for the care and treatment she’s received here. My son receives OT & ST and has attended their summer academy. He has made tremendous progress and continues to improve. My daughter also receives ST/feeding therapy. The amount of support the therapists and whole team give our family is amazing. They are prompt with returning calls and emails and answering any questions we may have. His therapy during summer was held at an outdoor facility that had all sorts of farm animals. It helped put my son at easy and built trust and comfort between him and Karlie. Laura and the director, Kaitlyn were also super supportive during my son’s time there. Prior to arriving for therapy at Hummingbird he was diagnosed with ADHD and separation anxiety. Since working with Karlie he is no longer exhibiting signs of separation anxiety. Karlie has also helped him manage his emotions. Highly recommended Karlie and Hummingbird Pediatrics. Can’t thank Karlie, Laura, and Kaitlyn enough for all of their care, kindness, compassion, and support for my son!

Our son has been to three other speech clinics with no progress at all, but since starting here, everything has changed. Ms. Megan is kind, patient, and just gets him. He’s already saying more words, and for the first time ever, he spoke a full sentence: “Dada, I go too peas.” It was the sweetest moment. We decided to supplement the help he’s getting in school and looked into a few places before deciding on Hummingbird.  The Woodridge location is very convenient for us, and they were able to get us in right away.  They handled everything, including making sure our insurance would cover the service so set up was easy.  We’ve been there a few months now.  My son is very excited to go to his weekly appointment even though they are first thing in the morning.  His speech pathologist, Miss Megan, is kind and you can see that she genuinely cares.  I get an update on his progress after each appointment as well as tips on how to continue helping him at home.
