Positive Parenting Program
Tools, guidance, and support to navigate the ups,
the downs, and the in-betweens of parenting
Parenting can be overwhelming, especially when your child is struggling! This supportive, short-term educational program is for parents who have a child that might be experiencing a major life transition (like divorce, illness, or a move), navigating a new diagnosis, demonstrating changes in their behavior, or experiencing ongoing struggles with emotions or routines.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or just need someone to listen, Hummingbird is here to help you feel more confident and equipped!

This 10-week, one-on-one educational workshop for parents focuses on practical parenting strategies to reduce meltdowns, build cooperation, and create calmer routines for your family. Our licensed counselors and social workers pair psychoeducation with guided reflection and processing through case studies and family-specific examples.
What problems will it help solve?
Meltdowns, power struggles, anxiety, and burnout
What is the outcome?
Calmer home, more connection, and confident parenting
The program includes weekly, 1-hour virtual sessions. Sessions last for 10 weeks, but we can adapt it to a 7-week schedule if 10 weeks does not work with your schedule. Sessions are eligible to be billed through the parent’s insurance.

Hummingbird’s Positive Parenting Program gives you a private space to talk through what’s happening at home, learn practical tools, and get support along the way. You don’t have to wait for things to feel overwhelming before reaching out.
