By focusing on movement, strength, balance, and coordination, we help children improve their gross motor skills and enhance their ability to participate in daily activities. If your child is experiencing any of the following, they may benefit from physical therapy:
- Delayed or abnormal gross motor skill development
- Muscle tone abnormalities (either increased or decreased)
- Muscle weakness
- Poor coordination or balance
- Pain
- Clumsiness
- Scoliosis

Diagnosis & Evaluation Process
Children with neurological conditions are typically diagnosed by a neurologist. Once a diagnosis is made, our physical therapists will conduct a thorough assessment to create a customized treatment plan. During the evaluation, we examine function, mobility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone, balance, and coordination.
