Her professional background also includes extensive early childhood education credentials, including ECE Level 5, Infant and Toddler Level 4, and Illinois Director Level 2.
Shawna earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University and her Masters in Social Work from Aurora University.
Outside of work, she enjoys scrapbooking, traveling (she tries to go somewhere new annually!), trying new foods, and learning about other cultures. Her favorite place she’s traveled to is Thailand.
Her favorite quote is, “Have courage and be kind.”
