Libby is passionate about helping children and families discover meaningful ways to connect and communicate. She finds joy in celebrating each child’s excitement as they learn new skills and grow in their ability to express themselves. Being part of that developmental journey is something she values deeply, and she strives to create sessions that are engaging, flexible, and responsive to each child’s unique needs.

She comes to Hummingbird with clinical experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, private practice, and school-based settings. Libby is eager to continue expanding her expertise in early language development and social communication, and she is especially interested in advancing her knowledge in pediatric feeding and swallowing.

Libby earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Butler University and her Master’s Degree in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, trying new restaurants in Chicago, spending time outdoors, going to CorePower Yoga, doing puzzles, and hanging out with family and friends.
