Marisa chose physical therapy because of the impact she can make on others. Working specifically with kids has given her the opportunity to use her creativity for play based interventions and has brought so much joy to her days.
 
She loves to celebrate all the big and small moments, from watching a child take their first steps to hearing the giggles from a baby during a session!
 
Marisa holds a Bachelors in Biology and Graphic Design from Augustana College. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from South College. She is certified as an Introductory Level B Practitioner in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI).
 
In her spare time, Marisa loves hand-lettering, practicing yoga and spending time with family and friends.
