Caregiver Support Group

Building Connection & Community for Parents and Caregivers

Hummingbird’s weekly Caregiver Support Group offers parents and caregivers a warm, welcoming space to connect with others, share experiences, and learn from one another. Led by a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, the group provides support and guidance around parenting challenges, mental health, family relationships, and supporting your child’s social and emotional development.

At Hummingbird, we believe supporting a child means supporting the whole family. Our Caregiver Support Group gives parents and caregivers a place to focus on their own experiences, build connections, and find support alongside the care their child receives.

What is Hummingbird’s Caregiver Support Group?

Hummingbird’s Caregiver Support Group provides a supportive community where caregivers can share their experiences, challenges, and successes. This sense of community helps to reduce feelings of isolation and stress that often accompany caring for a child who is learning how to navigate social and emotional challenges. Previous conversations have focused on how to socially and emotionally support children, how to foster a healthy parent-child relationship, different parenting styles, and stress management.
